Description of the role:

Volunteers to help children and adults with disabilities to go horse riding. Riding aids their mobility, boosts their confidence and provides them with some much needed fun.
The role involves working with other volunteers, relatives and carers, walking alongside the horses to ensure that the riders have a safe and enjoyable experience.

Skills and qualities needed for the role:

People with a desire to help others, who are good team members and who have a sense of humour. Experience with horses is not needed as full training will be given.

Practical information:

There are opportunities available 6 days a week, mornings, afternoons and evenings.
