Our Visitor Welcome volunteers create a positive first impression with a warm welcome; helping all visitors get all they need from their visit. You'll be helping visitors get their bearings and informing on the best routes around the property depending on their needs. You’ll also help us provide a personalised thank you, leaving people with a positive lasting impression.
No particular qualifictions are needed but a warm and engaging personality is required.
You'll volunteer when you can during our opening hours. Access to transport will be required.

Fountains Abbey is owned by the National Trust. One of the most fascinating and historic sites in the whole of Europe. Cistercian Abbey, 18th century Water Garden, Elizabethan Hall and Deer Park. A World Heritage site. The range of voluntary work available is almost limitless and much of it takes place all year round.
