HELP - Harrogate Easier Living Project

HELP - Harrogate Easier Living Project

The Harrogate Easier Living Project (HELP) provides support for older or vulnerable people and those with a disability to remain independent in their own home.

The project’s three services – Help at Home, Opening Doors and Carers’ Time Off – are all supported by a team of volunteers helping people around the home and out and about in the community.

Help at Home provides a decorating, gardening and DIY service to those who can no longer manage the task themselves.

Opening Doors provides accompanied one-to-one support for disabled and older people to make individual or group outings and to access social and leisure activities

Driving Force is a voluntary car driving service to help those limited by mobility or location to make non-urgent journeys to medical appointments and other essential trips.
