Are you looking for an opportunity to build your skills, boost your confidence or refresh your CV?
Get Set for Volunteering is a short course specially designed for people who are not currently working but are interested in finding out more about volunteering. You might be looking to volunteer as a way to get back into the workplace or simply as a way to boost your confidence.
During the sessions we will look at what volunteering involves. We will identify local volunteer roles which match your skills and interests. There will be plenty of opportunity to chat to fellow course participants who are also considering volunteering for the first time.
The course is open to a maximum of 10 people. Our experienced tutor will guide you through the world of volunteering and answer any questions you have. If at the end of the course you decide you would like to volunteer we do offer extra help with completing application forms if you require.
